Upland Bird Hunting
Gypsum Valley Sporting Clays is a family owned operation with over 800 acres of prime Kansas hunting ground managed specifically for pheasant, quail and chukar hunting. Our land runs directly through the heart of Kansas so the upland bird hunting is phenomenal. Our land consists of creeks, sloughs, draws, milo, native grasses, shelter belts, and crop fields, all perfect Kansas hunting habitat for the ringneck pheasant and other upland birds. We take pride in our wildlife management program and have learned from trial and error on how to manage our property to be the wildlife haven it has become today. Come experience top quality Kansas hunting at Gypsum Valley Sporting Clays located just south of Salina Kansas near the town of Gypsum.

The shooters will shoot at a pre-determined amount of releases and then move to the next station. Check in time is 8 a.m. and shooting begins at 9 a.m. Lunch is provided after the shoot. The cost is $200.00 per shooter not including a hunting license and shells.
Hunting licenses and shells are the responsibility of the hunter but we can sell shells and licenses at the clubhouse. All of our hunting is in a controlled shooting area meaning that you can shoot Roosters or Hens with no limit. We work on a “stocked” system meaning that as birds are removed from our fields from hunting then they are replaced as needed. We also have quail and chucker on the properties. The season runs from September 1st to March 31st. Gratuities to the guides are appreciated.
